Nakamura’s Photo Book Hits No. 1 After World Cup 2026 Run
Japan winger Keito Nakamura has seen his debut photo book, Natural, climb to the top of Japan’s weekly charts. The book, released in June 2025, shot to No. 1 in the sports-books category on the July 20 Oricon ranking. His last match was the June 29 loss to Brazil (2-1), and his recent five games read 2W-2D-1L (LDWDW).
The 222-page collection mixes relaxed off-field shots from his home in France and the streets of Paris with never-before-seen action from World Cup 2026 and Ligue 1. It also traces his life from birth to his breakthrough in Europe and his thoughts heading into the tournament.
Why the Sudden Surge in Interest?
When it debuted last June, the book entered at No. 3. It stayed in the Top 5 for two straight weeks, then rose to No. 4 on June 29 and No. 3 on July 13 before finally topping the chart on July 20 with 3,000 copies sold.
Fans are drawn to the blend of high-pressure match action and intimate glimpses of his daily life-fashion, music, hairstyles, fragrances, and close friends.

The book balances training-ground grit, match-day focus, and off-duty moments. Private shoots took place in his French home and around Paris, while the unreleased play images come from both club and national-team duty.
According to publisher Futabasha, the collection captures everything from his rookie days in Europe to his World Cup 2026 journey.
