Star-studded dinner after Japan's World Cup return

Japan's national team returned from the World Cup on July 2 and held a celebration with manager Hajime Moriyasu. Midfielder Keito Nakamura immediately went on vacation to Bali with five close teammates including Takumi Kubo and Yusei Sugawara. Upon returning, he dined at a famous Wagyu beef restaurant in Roppongi with actor Ryoma Takeuchi and Kazuo Miura's son, MMA fighter Kouta Miura.

Instagram post goes viral

Julio Frio, representative of J.FUTBOL, posted a photo of Nakamura with Takeuchi and Miura on Instagram. "We had amazing conversations with this incredibly star-studded group!" he wrote. The post received over 90,000 likes and comments like "He's national treasure-level handsome" and "He's even more handsome than Takeuchi."

Japan's recent form

Japan has won three of their last five matches (WWWDL) and are on a three-game winning streak. Their most recent match was a 3-0 victory over Bolivia on November 18, 2025.
