Criticism from Former Player

A former player of the Japan League has brought attention to a new training regulation called 'No Ball Playing.' This rule is different from the usual games or exercises used for preparation before matches or improving team communication.

Questioning why everyone doesn't speak up, this player highlighted issues with the new directive. According to him, such rules reduce practice time without promoting better communication within the team.

'Our matches are played using balls; therefore, training with them is crucial,' he pointed out.

Issues of Training Methods

This former player expresses concerns about the impact of this new rule on practice methods. He proposes that teams need to reassess their approach towards touch and handling of the ball for overall improvement. Additionally, he warns of potential influence these 'rules' could have on match results,

'To improve how players deal with balls - a fundamental aspect for them - frequent contact is necessary,' he explained. Thus, this new training method puts more emphasis on enhancing basic skills rather than improving communication within the team.
