Knockout Stage on October 5th

The other match will see the teams from Panama and New Zealand compete against each other, with Japan facing the winner or loser of that match in a knockout stage at National Stadium. If Japan wins its first match, it will play for the title; if not, it will face the losing team in a ranking match.

The match on October 5 is scheduled to kick off between 7:00 PM and 7:30 PM JST and will be broadcast live by TV Asahi. It will also be streamed live on TVer and ABEMA.

This Kirin Cup tournament, which hasn't been held since 2022, marks the 34th edition of the competition. Japan aims to win its first title in 15 years.
