Funaesaki Joins Crystal Palace
Japan's Funaesaki (27) has joined Crystal Palace in the English Premier League, marking his return to the league after approximately one year.
Funaesaki joined Arsenal in 2021 from Italian Serie A side Bologna and primarily played as a sideback, but suffered from a right knee injury. From December last year to June this year, he played for Dutch Eredivisie side Ajax and was selected for the Japan national team in the CONCACAF Nations League, making his second consecutive World Cup appearance.
